We recommend this product to those who have a smaller farm size but still want to perform chopping work efficiently, as even with such a roller you can easily achieve an area output of 2.5ha/hour. For those who don’t want to invest a lot of money in a wider machine, the Pro Cutter is an economical choice. Another big advantage is that it can be used on the front of the tractor as well as on the back. If used on the front of the tractor, it can protect the power machine from possible damage that may be caused by sunflower stalks as the wheels roll over the already shredded area. Also, if you have the shredding roller on the front of the tractor, you can work with a disc or cultivator on the back of the tractor. This allows for performing two operations in one go.

Perfect shredding in a suspended design
The PRO-CUTTER rollers have KAT2 three-point suspension, making them the perfect partner for small and medium farms without the need for a wheel frame.
Whether it’s sunflower, rape, sweet corn stalks or even green manure, the shredding roller can easily handle the 15 cm shred size.
SMART suspension system
The Pro-Cutter 2.5 and 3.0 rollers feature the SMART suspension system that is unique in the marketplace.
The suspension system is based on a solid yet sturdy steel spring in a „C” shape.
Rubber springs provide protection against overloading.
Finally, a safety latch ensures protection against possible spring breakage.
Thanks to the SMART suspension system, vibrations in the shredding roller put less stress on the bearings and frame structure, increasing their lifetime and making transport more comfortable, even over a pothole, with the roller able to spring downwards.
Reversible drawbar
Thanks to their sophisticated design, the drawbars of PRO-CUTTER rollers can be quickly converted from front suspension to towed rollers or vice versa.
Steel and rubber protection plate
When mounted on the front, the shredding roller can stir up a significant amount of dust at higher working speeds in dry conditions, which is why all our rollers are equipped with a rubber protection plate in addition to the steel plate for extra protection.
Thanks to this protective cover, the amount of dust on the tractor is minimised and the damage caused by flying shredded stalk debris is completely avoided.
Water fillable roller bodies
All NorAn shredding rollers can be easily refilled with water or oil if necessary.
This allows for enhancing the efficiency of shredding in extremely dry years, whereas in wetter conditions, the roller can be lightened by draining the water to avoid harmful compaction of the soil.

The NorAn X-Press shredding roller is an efficient solution for shredding sunflower, rape or sweet corn stubble residues.
Advanced green manure plants can cause big problems before ploughing or cultivating, but the X-Press roller can crush them without leaving any problems for soil work.
Thanks to the innovative design of the roller bodies, in addition to cutting the stalks while working, the blades also penetrate the soil and perform a semi-value soil work.

Thanks to the unique 500 mm roller diameter, the blades lock together at a greater angle than their larger diameter (8-900mm) counterparts, and the smaller diameter means that the NorAn shredding rollers get stuffed with mud much later.
You can run your shredding roller until it is half-wet without any problems.
Sunflower and rapeseed stubble residues can be shredded with high efficiency even with green stalks.
Green manure plants up to 1.2-1.5 m height can be crushed without problems with the NorAn roller.
It can shred 60-80% of corn stalks depending on the stalk weight.
In addition to shredding, the NorAn roller also performs a „semi-value” soil work at working speeds above 10-12 km/h.
So you can even use the roller for ultra-shallow ploughing, thanks to the aggressive angularity of the blades, which lift the top 2-4 cm of the soil as it leaves the ground.
