In this case, we manufacture roller bearings that can be mounted on the original bearing arrangement in place of the factory rollers, which, once installed, can be shredded efficiently with your old roller without any modification.

You remove the factory cast roller assembly and reinstall the shredding roller on the factory bearing points.

We can manufacture a shredding roller for all prismatic and cambridge rollers with space for a cylinder diameter of 500 mm.
No. No modifications are necessary. In all cases, our rollers can be fully fitted to the factory bearing arrangement.
We know the production dimensions of most popular cylinders, in these cases only one check is needed. If we haven’t already had your kind of roller, we can manufacture your custom roller based on 3 simple dimensions – bearing backspacing, working width and bearing size.
The shredding roller typically shreds the soil surface stalk residues to a fine size (15 cm).
This has the advantage that the chopped plant stems decompose more quickly in the soil.
Thanks to the unique 500 mm roller diameter, the blades lock together at a greater angle than their larger diameter (8-900mm) counterparts, and the smaller diameter means that the NorAn shredding rollers get stuffed with mud much later.
You can run your shredding roller until it is half-wet without any problems.
Sunflower and rapeseed stubble residues can be shredded with high efficiency even with green stalks.
Green manure plants up to 1.2-1.5 m height can be crushed without problems with the NorAn roller.
It can shred 60-80% of corn stalks depending on the stalk weight.
In addition to shredding, the NorAn roller also performs a „semi-value” soil work at working speeds above 10-12 km/h.
So you can even use the roller for ultra-shallow ploughing, thanks to the aggressive angularity of the blades, which lift the top 2-4 cm of the soil as it leaves the ground.
